MMM was recognized for outstanding architecture and design in education for its renovation of Williams Hall at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. MMM developed a planning study and space program for the interior restoration of this 46,000 SF building.

Brian A. Turner, EIT, LEED AP, and Greg Simon, both MMM designers, received 3rd place (out of 12 finalists) for their design of a sustainable building and site. The national competition, sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), highlights the best environmentally conscious students and young professionals in the industry.
