MMM is providing design-build services for the construction of this new administration building. The new three-story facility will include 71,000 SF of office space and provide 337 parking spaces for building tenants. Each floor is anticipated to host one tenant. Significantly, the goal of the new facility is to be the first federal office building to achieve a Gold LEED™ rating in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The interior design included LEED™ credits for sustainable materials in the public and employee entry lobbies, where granite tile flooring will offer a high level of quality, durability, and greater design flexibility. The combination of bamboo wall panels and wall covering in the public lobby will offer a tactile visual backdrop with warm earth tones within the space.
