As Chief of Design, Mr. Xystros has extensive experience in all phases of new and renovation project development, including design, design development, production of working drawings and specifications, cost estimating, construction administration, and construction supervision. His most recent projects include the ongoing design of the Southside Aquatic Center for the City of Norfolk and the Old Hampton Community Center (LEED Silver) for the City of Hampton, plus new construction of the Workforce Training and Administration Building at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, and the six-story 31 Ocean Parking Garage (1,050 vehicle capacity), a joint project with the developer and the City of Virginia Beach.
Mr. Xystros' design of the 31 Ocean Garage and retail spaces on the Virginia Beach oceanfront earned "Best Recreational/Entertainment Award of Merit" from the HRACRE Excellence in Development Design Awards. His higher education design work has also been recognized by such national publications as American School & University and College Planning & Management.
