Mr. Sutton has over two decades of experience in the condition assessment and design of new construction and renovation, rehabilitation, and restoration of existing buildings, with an emphasis on municipal, military, educational, industrial, and commercial projects.

Mr. Sutton's ongoing design activities include electrical design support for 11 light rail stations as part of the new Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) light rail system in Norfolk. He was also the lead electrical engineer for the design of all buildings and support structures (173,000 SF) of the new APM cargo port facility in Portsmouth including the Terminal Operations Building (83,449 SF) and the Vehicle Maintenance Shop facility (40,900 SF).
