MMM completed architectural, engineering, landscaping, and construction
phase services (Federal Title II Services) for the multi-disciplined
design of a Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence
(C41) facility and support complex, which includes a command and communications
center (220,000 SF), equipment intensive computer facilities, back-up
utilities, repair shops, splinter-protected blast design, storage and
administration facilities, provisions for security systems with multi-access
levels, card readers and cypher locks, roads, and site development.
The total
gross built-out area is 525,000 SF. This facility is the last built American
military computer command center and one containing
the most recent developments to link this center via satellite and
intelligence gathering equipment to the entire remainder of the military
command and control structure at the Pentagon.
