MMM provided multidiscipline design, contract documents, and cost estimates
for the construction of a 150,000 SF administration and training facility
and a 105-single-room, mixed dormitory. This facility was developed
by MMM for the paramilitary training of U.S. military and law enforcement
officers in classroom curricula and field scenarios.
The design of this facility also included site work and associated entrance roads, parking, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution, sidewalks, landscaping and emergency power generation. The two-story building features classrooms, lecture areas, laboratories, technical shops, photography spaces, and communications areas.
This equipment-intensive training facility included:
> Raised flooring and
special mechanical and HVAC systems for sophisticated computer hardware
> Specialized CCTV and communication facilities
> Sensitive compartmented information storage spaces, including provisions
for intrusion detection systems
> Electronic gridding to conform with strict security requirements (shielding
of RF)
> Construction administration/inspection services
