Our excellence is proven through our repeat clients and ability to offer all architectural services under one roof. MMM's architectural capability is based on the understanding that the client will get what they want. We will find the right price and get it done at the right time. Accelerated schedules at lower prices are our expertise. Through architectural design, MMM's architects help shape a project into an image that adequately reflects the institutional traditions of the client. MMM's architectural services are versatile and comprehensive in scope, offering full-service capability with LEED and multidiscipline engineering support. Historically, MMM has always been a pioneer in utilizing the latest technology in design software, as when we first introduced CAD work stations in 1978. Today, we remain in the forefront of technological innovation in making the transition from conventional 2D drafting software to Building Information Modeling (BIM). Over a twelve-month period, we actively moved ahead to train our professional staff and subsequently complete a pilot project. BIM is now used exclusively on all new architectural projects and is transforming the way our architects, engineers, contractors, and clients collaborate and share information. Ongoing projects include the design of several higher education projects across Virginia as well as design services in support of Norfolk's new light rail initiative. Recently completed projects in Virginia include the Terminal Operations Building (83,449 SF) in Portsmouth for APM Terminals North America, Inc., the most technologically advanced port headquarters facility on the East Coast, which won the 2008 Award of Merit from the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate. Other notable projects include the just completed U.S. Social Security office building (71,000 SF) in Roanoke, a design-build project for GSA. The firm also modernized the historic U.S. Customhouse (c. 1859), a working office building for GSA, winning the prestigious City of Norfolk Design Award in 2001. Scope of Services:
