The project includes the renovation of approximately 55,000 GSF of existing
academic building and the addition of appoximately 26,600 GSF of new
construction, to meet the program requirements for the School of Arts

in a way to create a common identity, and to give the monolithic impression
of a single and united structure. MMM performed planning study validation
and design in accordance with BCOM mandates.
The project included extensive
and sophisticated academic programming as the School of Media Arts and
Design, the speech communications department,
the writing program, the Institute of Technical and Scientific Communications,
media resources and telecommunications spaces, and various administrative
spaces needed to fit within the confines of the space available. A new 150-seat
